When you regularly have negative thoughts you basically instruct your subconscious mind to create a negative life for you.
As a result, you continue to struggle and go after opportunities that are doomed to fail.
This only happens because you may have programmed your mind and subconscious mind to create a negative life, and you probably did this without even realizing it.
You might think that you're just being realistic, that you're looking at things the way they are that you don't want to fool yourself.
But you're only seeing things in a negative light because that's what you're used to seeing – you've got the negative thinking glasses on and that's all you see.
So now I'm going to outline some simple steps on how to change negative thoughts to positive thoughts, so that you overcome negative thinking, get rid of the negative thinking and put an end to the negative self talk that you may find yourself engaging in from time to time.
Positive thinking, going from negative thinking to positive thinking, has a dramatic impact on your life and improves the overall quality of your life.
Science has proven that positive thinkers, those who are optimistic, see the glass as half full, feel that they can succeed, and encourage others are more likely to have a happier and more rewarding life.
Negative thinkers, on the other hand, are doomed to struggle and fail repeatedly.
If you're mind is filled with negative thoughts, if you find that you are always focusing on what can go wrong, discouraging others, filled with doubt and constantly worry then you need to eliminate the negative thinking and develop a positive thinking pattern.
Turning things around can be done by following these steps.
First track your thoughts.
During the day, stop and ask yourself what you're thinking.
Make a note of the thoughts that you're having.
If there are any negative thoughts, ask yourself the next question: Do these thoughts help me achieve what I want?
If they don't help you then change them.
Replace them with positive thoughts.
Think of anything positive that is happening at that time, or happened within the last 24-48 hours.
Now your mind may try to fool you into thinking that nothing positive happened in that time, but don't believe it. Keep searching and you'll come up with something. If you have job and got to work on time – that's positive. If you had a pleasant conversation, then that's positive.
There are probably hundreds of positive events that take place everyday that you're not seeing, because you're not used to seeing them.
Now you're going to undo that negative thinking pattern and it will take some time.
And the more often you do it the easier it becomes.
Once you shift from negative thinking to being more positive and optimistic that's when you may begin to see dramatic and long lasting changes.
You see your subconscious mind responds to your thoughts and beliefs.
If your mind is filled with negative thoughts, your subconscious may be compelled to create a life that is unpleasant and negative.
When your mind is filled with positive thoughts your subconscious is compelled to create positive situations and may bring more positive events into your life.
That's why it's crucial to be positive and eliminate the negative thinking.
Negative thinking doesn't help you.
Negative thinking may ruin your life.
Negative thinking could make you feel miserable.
Eliminate the negative thoughts and create positive thoughts that allow you to succeed.
